A place of my own to write

I have written a lot over the years, but almost always for someone else: a publisher, a magazine, an editor with a word count in mind. I am grateful for all of it. It also means that for twenty-some years I never really had a place that was just mine to think out loud.

So this is that place. No word count, no assignment, no schedule I have to keep. When something about playing or teaching or music or the tools I build is rattling around in my head, I want somewhere to put it down and see what it looks like written out.
